Well I suspected a Hen and Rooster and who better to get advise on that than A G himself?  The response?

Jan, that is , indeed a genuine Hen & Rooster, made between 1915 and 1925.  15-20 years ago I sold the lastone I had, made in the 1970s for right at $500  If yours is mint then  would think it worth between $800 - $1,500
