This is the first knife I ever made, from back in the mid-1960's. It was ground out from a piece of broken power hacksaw blade, heated cherry red and dropped into used motor oil. The handle is layers of plexiglass. While crude and not very pretty, it will hold an edge forever. It has skinned and butchered several deer and an elk in it's day.
