Hey Jan not 100% sure if it is a kit or not...it was a gift. However, the man that sold it to my wife did act as though it was hand made (not from a kit).
Craig I agree with you on the kit you shared.
Either way it is a very cool piece!

Mike, is this one of the kits?  I have thought about getting some of those for my son to do with the kids but I dont remember them looking this good LOL
