The main story is this toothpick was in a box of junk knives that belong to a good friend of mine (Mike Garcia)  who passed away a little over a year ago.  I can bring myself to throw them away so when I give away a knife a pass along some of the junk knives.   I have no idea why Mike rescued them from the garbage  but as they were his, I can't bear to toss them out but I can give them away and hopefully someone will find something useful to do with them.
