I will contact David and hope to visit his store on Route 66 on the Colorado Arizona border in perhaps a year. The info I had about Steve Yellowhorse was from the Heard Museum.

LOL,  Sorry I could not wait as I am very enamored with this knife!  I asked David about it and this is his response:

Jan...this knife is cool.... I believe it was inlayed by a cousin... his name is Steward Yellowhorse... lives in Gallup NM.
 
His brother is Steve Yellowhorse...
