Nice lot of old knives, I like the old cleaver with the grooved handle.
some nice looking blades in there
Sweet! I love older knives!
This one came from the "China Emporium" from China Town in San Francisco.
This was the first large estate I remember helping my folks with...around 1969/70, I was about eight or nine.
Mostly remember all the cool stuff in the upstairs storage and the huge rats...I didn't even flinch as I rummaged through the stuff.
Took them out of their soak to take this pic. L-R
Scout knife: Ulster Dwight Divine #1502, Wenger Delemont Swiss Made P Wengerniox, Imperial, Imperial, Colonial, Bartenders knife Graef & Schmidt, Jigged bone two blade pinned to right side-tough to read-one side has an arrow in an oval and reads Razor Steel Germany-one blade is broken off-needs to soak some more, Far right-A.W. Let me know if you would like to see better pictures of any.
... 'n are those chinese characters stamped on the ??tobacco knife??cleaver?? ... implying a kitchen / cooking implement ????
Got the 4-blade as an ULSTER.
Cannot read the celluloid.
Is that a Waterville in the brown jigged bone & broken blade @ lower right ?? It's my experience .. they've VERY GOOD steel.
Oh how I love that old jigged bone .. genuinely pocketworn. And the shields pinned in that old bone. Sweet !!!
What's the stamping on the "camp knife" on the left .. jigged bone, 4 blade, can opener & leather punch @ one end .. cap lifter & main spear blade @ other end, spear blade 1/2 opened & lying on the ?? tobacco knife ?? cleaver ???
The 3-blade marbled celluloid .. Schrade Walden ?? New York Knife Co. ??
How about the bartender's knife ??
All in all ... sweet !!!
Looks like a productive day!
