The original handle colour was Ranger Green, which I wasn't too taken with, so I spray painted it to silver-metallic grey, and now it looks like more of a Coho Salmon colour, which I quite like.

Personally, I think S30V was not the best choice of steel for the intended purpose of this blade.  Simply because this blade was designed for heavy-duty field use in mind, and in order to maximize the qualities of S30V, a thinner bevel angle of between 17°-22° is needed.  Although the 0121 came with an 18° bevel, which is great for the steel, however it dulls quickly when put through hard field use.  I would've liked to see it in AUS8A with a 25°-30°.

As to the weight.  It's all in the handle.  Which makes for agile blade dexterity, but not so good for basic chopping duties.  I'd like to see more forward weight in the blade.

As for the Cord Cutter, the gap-size is too small for detonation cord and useless for fabric cord.  Hovever, it is very good for putting a fine tip on bait sticks, kill sticks, punji sticks, pencil tips, etc...

However, for any perceived deficiencies, the fit and feel of this knife in the hand is pure magic and a joy to wield.   :)
