About Me

I was raised ad now live in rural southwest Virginia and i love where I live. Regarding this group, I always liked traditional pocket knives, as did my father who always carried a knife. When he died he left me 2 knives and that recently caused me to get very interested in learning more. I have been quite impressed by the value of Rough Ryders and Rosecrafts and by the history of many American cutlery places. I do not really know if I am a "collector" per se, as I am more interested in knives that are or have been put to use the way my dad and all my family did when working on the farm. I am definitely interested in learning more though.

Interests

I am now retired. I live on 15 acres and work on my land, and I like to do some traveling to learn about history and places.
