I've had an interest in swords and knives every since I was a kid, spawning me to start forging at around 14. I've been making ever since then with a focus on Japanese swords. I've spent most of the last 24 years studying Japanese swords heavily with an emphasis of course on the traditional techniques and criteria in making them. I've focused mainly on the Soshu school of smithing but also like to play with Bizen and Soden-Bizen type work. All that aside I like to do high end tactical and art knives as well as contemporary swords.
