Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I saw the production schedule on GEC's website yesterday. I had told myself ,sternly , that I would resist for a while.

Then I got to thinking that I haven't got a knife in 440c and that ,oh well you know the story by now.

So I now have a GEC #47 Viper on order with antique amber scales.

Looks like the Viper has bitten me again.

Have been carrying 1095 this week Jan ,after a while using D2 and ATS-34.   It sure does sharpen up easy and a few strokes on the strop and it's good and shiny again .

LOL John,

Donnie is not a patina fan either.  Knife polishing happens on a regular basis at my house because as a user we both still love 1095.  CPM154 is coming in as a fast second in that!

Steve I was going to join you in admiration of the Dixie Stockman it was next on the list.

It will have to wait for a while now I guess !

It would be nice if we got a few more stainless from GEC Jan ,just that bit easier to look after for those of us who don't like patina.

Anyway if there is anyone out there who hasn't fallen under the spell of the Viper here is one of the last run.
