Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Since I have contracted EDC-OCD, I have bought a knife weekly. This blog should help me keep track of the incoming items starting 5/21/2013.

5/21/2013  -  Today it is a Uncle Henry / Schrade+ / U.S.A. 144

This is a beauty, lightly used and well cared for. Polished the brass up a little.

5/28/2013

Today's arrival is a 2009 Buck 110 purchase inspired by Ron Coopers lovely purchase earlier this month. I had been watching the knife he bought on eBay and decided to forego bidding because I had allotted my money to the 144UH in the above pictures. But seeing the 110 so soon afterwards, here, on this site, was more then I could bear. So I perused  eBay for another and this one was the best of the lot.

 5/31/2013

Schrade U.S.A. 153UH - Near Mint condition. Even the stone hasn't been used. Very nice.

Corneta Wotan - from Cesar in Brazil. This is a beast of a knife, weighing in at 14.2 oz without the sheath, 6" blade and 11" over all. The Hollow ground 1/4" thick 52100 Ball Bearing steel blade(56-58 HRC) has a drop forged integral double guard that is very well formed and smoothly radiused into the ricasso. The Kraton handle is as non-slip as you can get. The ballistic nylon sheath is ambidextrous due to the hilt strap is on a pivoting rivet. I can see why the Brazilian Special Forces commissioned this design, It is fantastic. This knife is now in my Ready bag.

6/10/2013  -  ZT 0560 Trade through BF.

I missed this yesterday for some reason.

Wow, a 167UH! I love seeing it brad! Looks like a beauty! Really brings back memories. When we were knife dealers we sold a zillion of those!! Well, a bunch.

Brad, sorry, I'll try and get some new arrivals on when I get home - got 3 of them - 2 RR Peanuts (1 a smokey pearl) and a RR mini smokey pearl.

Steve,

That forest master looks great. That mystery knife looks strong and comfortable. That Frost looks to be a good beater.

Schrade being massed produced like it was and sold at relatively cheap prices made them User-friendly. But finding Excellent condition Schrade USA knives today is not an easy task. A couple of months ago, I saw a LB8 in similar condition to this one sell for over $100+ shipping.
