Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

As we get deeper into the year I want to start having some thoughts in place for the 2012 iKC knife.  I have 2 immediate questions

1) Fixed or Folder?

2) materials?

Let me know what ya'll think.  I would like to have some ideas in place around the time of the Blade Show (you know the manufactures can't get away from us there LOL)

Folder.  Preferrably some sort of open-assist knife or an easy open :-)

I'm with JJ. at least a two bladed knife. A Trapper, Moose, Whittiler or maybe a Canoe. It's all good!

A nice Gepetto sounds really good to me too.

1) Folder - 3 to 5 blade serpentine stockman or whittler, 3.25" to 3.75" long with at least one wharncliffe or sheepsfoot blade, maybe a Calf Roper or a Geppatto.

2) Smooth finished natural wood, bone, horn or stainless steel handles- no plastic, micarta, carbon fiber etc.

3) USA made (maybe this is taken for granted but I wanted to be sure)

I think that it should be a multiblade, this year.

My vote is for a smaller folding knife (3.5 inch give or take .25)  half congress pattern, jack knife or whittler pattern with bone, buffalo horn or wood like cocobolo.

Stag Sodbuster, that would be my top choice, out of the three but I like all of them. Thanks for your work on this project.

Appaloosa dogleg jack
