Old Wile E. Coyote was standing 30 feet from a newborn calf (well guarded by his mom) when I shot him from a fence corner 149 steps away with a .270 WSM with a 130 gr. Hornady spire bullet propelled with 65 gr. of 4350 powder exiting the muzzle at 3,060 fps. No wonder he didn't even wiggle when that bullet hit him in the heart and exited his shoulder going 2088 mph! :)
I can see that he got lead poison.
We have killed several, over the years, that were black.

that's very interesting. I've never seen one so black!
Alan, the coyote I killed in the picture below, I called up using a little hand held electronic caller. I shot him at 75 yards from one of my deer blinds.
