After 49 years our dads hunting knives returned.

Our dad died in 1974, he worked the oil rigs, big iron for 23 years. He was a hunter, which he did all his life, taught his kids to hunt, prepare and cook what he killed. Three weeks ago I got a facebook message from an aunt stating that she had "Your dads hunting knives" She stated that aunt Betty had them since 1964 and when aunt Betty passed in 1994 aunt Ella got them. She said, "They should go to you boys" she would mail them to me. They came in the mail, Sweden HILLBERG ESKILSTUNA, Imperial Gudedge Solingen and a 2013-05-26%2012-36-56.188.jpgERN.

Great story! Thanks for relating this to us! It is really great to have something to pass on to our kids and grand kids beside our true legacy. Congratulations on getting your treasures back.

Thanks for a great story. I'd rank those three knives as the most precious in the world.

Great story Albert. It was nice that she knew where they belonged and made it happen for you. Good picture of some old school tools. I have my father's original CASE Barlow he carried to work every day. It's great when you can keep them in the family.

Albert,

What an amazing family story and fantastic that the family knew who they had belonged to and how to get them back to you.  I am very happy for you all
