Welcome Home

My first post here.  I sell a wide variety of items on eBay for our local non-profit thrift store (White Elephant).  A Cattaragus knife was donated and I'm having trouble finding out what type of knife it is (see photograph).  I found one exactly like it on eBay and the seller thought it was made from a file but the "grooves" on it are more like slight ridges, not cutting grooves as on a file.  I'm hoping that someone will know what type of Cattaragus knife this is.  Any information will be most helpful.  Thanks.

Thanks for the input.  I'll be back when I'm stumped by another knife.
