Still looking for an appraisal for theses rare knives. I talked to Mr. Bernard Levine today. We had a great conversation about vintage knives and the famous people who collect Hibben Knives. Elvis,Steve Mcqueen,John Wayne,Sly Stallone, and even Dan Quayle who was presented a knife from Gil that is in the White House Presidential Archives. He could'nt give me an exact appraisal as he has never seen a Ensign knife for sale. He said they could be priceless and that there are few collectors out there on the market. Especially since these are first edition Hibben Knives that were given to my Grandfather while they were in buisness.
