I wanted to revisit this for just a moment. The exceptional membership in IKC is what brings out the best qualities in us all. When Scott envisioned this site, he envisioned a community. Like any community we are not always like minded, but unlike a number of the forums I have visited over the years we are respectful of the differences. As a lady collector, over the years I have been tolerated, ignored and felt like an oddity at times. Here at IKC, I have been respected and treated as a friend, right from the start. I have learned so much from all of you and some of you have shared your knowledge and memories with us all.

I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to everyone for making this a wonderful place to call home - for all the folks that like knives. And for the level of kindness and respect that I see us treat one another with. Keep up the GREAT fun we have here and tell me about your next knife!!

Stephen,

I just wanted to say thank you again for starting this.  The members here are special and those we have made friends with will always be special folks for us.  The ones we have not met yet, just new friends in the making

It is amazing how people that have never met each other can become friends through a sight like this. A persons personality comes through their commets on these sites. Truly amazing for an old swamp rat like me.
