Just picked me up some soft "glove leather" for mine, Ivars.

Exciting news. I wonder when it'll  show up here in Europe.

Yay!!  Probably by Tuesday mine will be showing up, maybe even Monday!  This weekend is going to stretch on forever, never thought I'd be looking forward to a Monday.  Ok, be patient now.  Breath in , breath out, enjoy the moment of now ......  WILL MONDAY NEVER GET HERE?  Hmmmm, coffee will not be needed today.

Surprise!

Chris says they shipped today. :)... Yes there will be the etch...cant show you everything right?  I want you all to have something to look forward to.

There were originally 100 offered but I made the decision to cut off at 50, and then had a few last minute orders. When knives are made they can not make an exact amount and an order of 53 comes out as an order of 57 because of over run.  They make more to be certain they get the amount they need.  That is why there are 4 available right now.  As a collector myself, a smaller run made sense and could not hurt the value of those that had made the purchase in a timely manner.

Next question,  What about the value?

Never bought one with the thought of a future monitary value.

To me, a knife that's been used has more meaning than a shelf sitter. This would only account for sentimental value though.

The knives that were handed down from my dad, beat up and tarnished as they are are priceless to me.  Hopefully my girls will feel the same way.

Personally, I don't plan to ever sell my knives.  After I'm gone (and I'm supposed to take 1 knife with me)  I'm gonna let the kids worry about them..

Anyone else...

I cant wait to see how this is used and carried.  I know Donnie will be carrying one but he is funny, it may  be a year before he puts one in the pocket

Mine will definately get some pocket time. I really enjoy carrying my unique knives. I'm working towards having almost nothing but unique knives, or limited editions or something.

I'll be making one too.  Be sure to post your pics.
