When you hunt Deer, its a good idea to be where the deer are. Same for Knife Hunting - there are places where knives hang out for sale.
This is just a listing of places where I find knives - generally in my area but anywhere really.
Bill Goodman's Gun and Knife shows - not many vintage knives, but lots of imports and tactical knives. I am going to one tomorrow.
Ohio Gun Collectors Assn-good place to pick up some nice knives that appeal to your taste.
Bass Pro - Cabelos - Lowes (I have gotten 2 Case knives at Lowes) and other sports stores.
Traders World - N. of Cincinnati.
Hillbillys Flea Market - N of Ashland KY
Yard/Garage sales: I don't have much luck at these but some do.
Buying and Selling and Trading among friends.
Knife Shows: 3 are coming up - Central Ky show in Lexington, Knife show in Louisville, KY in September, and the Ohio Classic in Cambridge, OH in October. These are prime Hunting grounds for some real nice knives.
Ebay: My go to place, I get many knives here, and for the most part are very satisfied.
And then Pioneer Village: Wheelersburg, OH - where I went yesterday - Aug 15th. You just might find anything there.
Where do you Hunt for Knives????

I live in the country, so nothing out here. The towns near by, don't have much either. There is only one Gun and Knife show a year, 40 miles away.
So I shop the Web. Ebay is just one place out of many. With a few tricks and caution, Ebay can be a good place to shop. Web, stores are also good and your buys are safer through good dealers. Some advertise on our club.
Good list there, Ken! I'm a picky Ebay guy, as well as another forum (but I only go there to look at knives for sale), and here, of course. Got one of my first Blackjack knives here with the help of Tobias! Lets see where others troll for theirs! Great topic.
