The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Twas the night before CHRISTmas and all through the house.
The Knives were stirring trying to awaken the Mouse.
The Stockings were hung by the chimney with care and sheaths were
beside them awaiting their ware.
Up on the roof top there was heard such a clatter, but it was just
Santa chipping the Ice with his bowie knife. Awakening the children
who was sleeping so well dreaming of candy and sugar plums soon
turned to knife wares.
So up they came running and dancing and singing as the jolly ole fellow
dropped in for the greeting.
Loudly he says Ho Ho Ho...and on to his task of stuffing them stockings
and mighty knife sheaths mumbling he says oh a Case here, a Boker
there,a few Schrade and some Queen, oh yes and the Primble and Westerns ohhh what a sight...then he turns toward the children and
says Merry Christmas to all and All a Happy Knifing Night !
Up the Chimney he went and out into the night you could here him recite...
Its Colonial,Walden,Kinsfolk,Hammers,Standards,Clauss,Uncle Henry, Kane, as he went out of sight...............................................

Story FOR the DEER Lovers
Reindeer's Story at Christmas
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.
Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.
We should have known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.
My Dear iKC members
I have received and read all the letters which you and your members have written me . . . . I read knife speak and tang stamp marks pretty well. But I had trouble with those letters which were covered in rem oil and Renaissance Wax. I was planning a visit down your chimney at midnight when you were asleep to deliver them all myself-. . . . But . . . there were . . . one or two small orders which I could not fill . . . .
There was a word or two in one of your letters which . . . I took to be "a trunk full of sheaths." Steve I couldn’t bring those, Mrs. Clause made a remark about no more Kydex at that house.
There seemed to be something in one of the letters about all the Bucks on Michael’s list…sorry Data I didn’t get the list, I couldn’t bring those either.
Cherry, I saw the request for a ladies leg. I saw you had two of your own so I didn’t bring those either.
Brad T, I was looking at your list and was confused by a “sharp finger”. What is it with you folks and iKC and new body parts? I didn’t bring that either
Sue, I found your request to be a bit on the tough for families. I am just cannot bring myself to deprive pearls of their mothers for you, especially not at Christmas. I didn’t bring yours
Jason, I had your custom bowie all wrapped and in the sleigh but I got stopped. The guy in the uniform said I was delivering mail without the proper forms….so I didn’t bring that one either
OK, so maybe I don’t read knife as well as I thought but I caught one sentence that seemed to be repeated a good deal and I think I understand this one
LOL…Good boys and Girls of iKC, Santa doesn’t bring “More Money for Knives”
Sincerely,
Kris Kringle
Very good - Merry Christmas Sue and have a knife day.
