My visit to Smoky Mountain Knife Works #6

I did buy knives at SMKW.

This one is a Rough Rider Mushroom knife RR1400.  (The nation is now safe.  If that mushroom that came up in my yard was just a scout for a full scale invasion, I now have the means to beat it back!)

I am going to save this wooden Case knife kit until my grandson, Danny, is old enough to help me put it together.  May even buy some of the other patterns to go with it.

I bought this Victorinox for Danny but his mother asked me not to give it to him yet.  So plan to give it to him on his third birthday.

I may never fish the Ocoee River...

...but I have an Ocoee River fish knife.  Red jigged bone.

Okay, blog #7 will be the last and the best.

Thanks for the compliments Ken and Ron.  I realize that not everybody will be able to visit SMKW.  So I hope I have given those that can't at least a taste of what it is like.

Craig, I think they were saying that you were a "fun guy," not a fungi. I could be mistaken?

And, Charles. I will second what Ken has said. Well played, my friend - well played!

Charles, you have sure done an excellent job on this blog. Showing and telling all of us who have never been there what SMKW is all about. Thanks.
