Share your Knife Publications and recommended reading on Collecting knives

Hi fellow collectors,

I thought I would share some books I have found on knives, and future ones as I find them. I welcome any books that you recommend also. Please also post any brochures or catalog pics from the net also. I will start with a book I came across in the library. Some of you probably already know about this book , but there may be someone new to knife collecting like me who has not come across it yet.  The book is "The standard Knife Collectors Guide sixth edition, Identification and values" by Ron Stewart.

I thought it would be fun to let me know if a company I list is from your state, also if the Companies Knives are not in your collection, look for them on the net, especially the companies that are not so well known.

I thought I would highlight a few companies from the "Knife Collector's Guide", here is the first one,

Aerial Cutlery Manufacturing Company,  Marinette, Wisconsin, C 1901-1945

Just so someone not familiar with the book will know what's in it,  I will highlight a few things:

Introduction to knife collecting and what makes a knife a collector's item.

Pocketknife patterns and blade identification

The major knife companies and dates they made knives

Handle materials , Knife sharpening, and knife appraisal to name a few .
