The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
So here are the guidelines
Post a picture of your IKC Community knife with something unique to your area and enter it here. Lets see how creative we can be with our own state or country
I will choose 3 impartial judges. I think we run this from November 9th to November 24th. Lets see if we can get every knife to show back up on here. Ready, set, SHOOT YOUR PICTURES!

That's the best idea I've heard all week Ron. Of course it would need a special shield too.
FYI race fans - Formual One debuts in Austin this weekend. This is a very big deal for Austin. People from all over the world will be coming here. I will be hunting this weekend but I will see if I can find an F1 car to get a photo of.
Paul, I'm imagining kind of a long, sleek and slender hawkbill on the blade design for that Armadillo Toenail. And of course it would have jigged armadillo bone scales. I think it should go without saying that it would be built like a tank. Or, at the very least, an armadillo.
ROFL... Can you imagine that order?, we would like 1 of all the non-farm animals please
I imagine GEC will have those cranked out for us in a month or two JJ. I sure would like to see some more of your handy work. Those baskets were cool. I am trying to picture an armadillo toenail Ron. That critter sure does have some toenails though doesn't he? I chased one down while deer hunting a long time ago. Caught him by the tail just as he dove into his hole. He somehow expanded himself and wedged himself so tight that I couldn't pull him out. Not sure what I was going to do with him anyway. Didn't want to hurt the little fella, just play with him a bit I guess. lol
We're all familiar with the Elephant Toenail. How 'bout an Armadillo Toenail? Just a thought, you know..
Lets see here,
Armadillo jig for Paul, Gater Hide for Jan, and an authentic Peach Seed jig for me.
(Any other special jig requests for Great Eastern?)
Hey Paul I like that idea
Armadillos sure are prehistoric looking creatures, aren't they! But, hey! Those Geppetto and armadillo scales look like they're sharing the same DNA. The colors on each look eerily similar. The difference, of course, being that the Geppetto is beautiful, whereas the armadillo--forgive me--is butt fugly!
Great picture, though!
That would be cool
