Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Got a few things with the mail today.

One is a pocket knife.  A Scout that the seller says is made by Imco.  When I look that maker up in Cutler Markings it shows two "Imco's".  Problem is I cannot read the marking(s) on the blade for the life of me.  But the book says both makers are German (probably same company) and I'm guesing German makers probably didn't make Scouts.  Could be wrong though.  Hell could be way wrong.

I will have to find someone else to take a look.  Even with my 30x jewelers loupe I can't make it out.

Then I got Richard Langston's reference "The Collector's Guide To Switchblade Knives".  Looks good.

If anyone wants pics of the Scout let me know.  It' pretty worn some blade rust a divot in the large blade some of the black handle shaved off.  Encyclo says the Imco's were circa 1950-70.  Just doesn't sound like my knife.  This thing looks more like 20s or 30s.

Then I got a switchblade "Look alike" .  A Kissing Crane one blade folder.  Looks nice like most of their knives.  Haven't done any research on it.

I'll put together a little list of knives that I want in case anyone has some traders or for sale's.  I'm not a knife dealer but there are many that I keep looking for.

That's it for today.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
