Re: PM .. the open frame lends itself well to a good visual inspection. Not really necessary to dis-assemble to evaluate function. There's a coil spring around the pivot bolt .. one end anchored in blade .. other end anchored in frame. Sear pin for locking .. in/out. Not much more to it than that. Click .. click .. click .... they can be addictive .. click .. click .. click.
