The largest reason I joined is to find out some info on a Benchmade AFO I just received.  I'm not a collector but have owned dozens, maybe hundreds of knives, through my youth and 22 years in the Army.  I'm a definate user, sometimes abuser of knives.

This AFO has a silver handle and a blade that I'd call sand blasted steel.  I almost thought it was a home job but the Bali-Sog Butterfly and Benchmade USA are on the blade still.  Fires as strong as any other AFO I've ever owned.

Will get some pictures posted later.

Thanks again for the welcome from everyone.

Thank you, James, I appreciate that.

I am Pat Washmon   pwashmon@sbcglobal.net   817/ 494- 6698

PLEASE, HELP ME MOVE THESE KNIVES TO SOMEONE THAT WOULD APPRECIATE THEM.

I have some Buck, Case and Queen Cutlery knives that I would like to move.

I HAVE 2 sets of 8 piece cactus filled handles steak knife set from Buck.  There were less than 10 sets ever made by Buck.  These sets were presented to top Buck Knife Sales Representatives in the late 1970s.  These knives are in a presentation box and are in great condition as they were the day awarded by Buck.  $675. each

I HAVE ONE 8 piece stag handle XX steak knife set from Case.  These knives are in a presentation box and have never been used since their purchase in 1980.  $250.

I HAVE A Queen Cutlery boot knife.  This was one of the very original knives made and does not come with a sheath. The original boot knives did not come with a sheath.  $50.

FROM QUEEN  I also have a stag handled Toothpick. .-  Etched on the blade is 60th Aniversay  1 of 1000.  This knife comes in a presentation box.    $50

ALSO FROM QUEEN is a stag handle Easyopener.  This knife is a proof of the 1000 made by Queen in 1982.    On the blade is etched  MASTER CUTLER 5TH EDITION

On the bolster is marked 0000.  $50.

Buck’s collectors’ guy says this knife should go for $800 -  Local guys say this Case set should go for $300. – Queen people say that each knife should go for $75 each.

I can provide pictures if you give me an email address.

Thank you,

Thanks for the welcome, Billy.  Glad to be here, and I know at least one member whose ugly mug was on the front door.

Hi Billy, Thanks for your warm welcome.. I am quite new to knife collecting and this site. Do you also own Citadel knives? I live in Phnom Penh and get to visit the workshop and shop quite often, which gives me an oportunity to buy nice examples. I like knives with natural materials like horn, bone etc.. Do you have tips on other brands that use these materials? I saw some nice examples of Leroy Remer knives which I like, but you only seem to be able to buy those from him directely at knife shows?  Greetings from Phnom Penh.
