How long have you collected knives?: 3- 5 years

Favorite Kind of Knives: most any kind - modern, traditinal, fixed blade, I like most types!

About Me: I have used pocket knives most of my life, but I've only been collecting knives for a couple of years. I am more into "users" than show pieces.

Interests: Hiking, travel, camping, shooting, reading, dining, and of course knives.

Other Hobbies: Movie memorabilia, IDPA, pewter miniatures.

I assume most of that statement to be correct, Jan is well versed on this knowledge also. Parker and some of the makers I have mentioned above, had their knives produced there during that time. What I have been told, Jim Parker bought part of the SEKI plant back in the early 1980s. Jim Parker produced the IMAI brand stamp for Parker brand knives during this era. Not sure on the longevity of this IMAI brand for Parker made knives. Know that many other brands were produce there as well, with the SEKI name also. Hope this was helpful Jay, and I welcome Jan to come on board and educate both us hopefully.
