Tom Peterson commented on Ivars's group Whittling / Carving knives
"Would be nice if one of the small blades was a flat ground version of their punch blade or something similar to get in the tight spots  or even a small spey blade or rounded belly blade instead of two identical blades. They look pretty though..."

Tom Peterson replied to Jan Carter's discussion 2019 iKC Christmas Contest
"1. New fresh look is nice change. 2. I'd like to see full screen pics available. More knife specs on each knife never hurt either. 3. New owners are Erin McGlynn, husband Pat and daughter Katie. Thanks for doing contest and best of luck to all.…"

Sorry for the confusion, the dagger is a Sheffield made English one. As to the push knife that is my holy grail knife. I have seen a couple here in the uk, in a couple of different styles. They are very hard to come by, and are big bucks. Your not getting much change out of 600- 800 dollars, if you can find one. Thanks for the  info the reference books.

Hi Tom,  Thanks for your friendship.  Yes I did see the Shepherd Hills Auction for the Green Bone Elephant Toe.  All in all I mostly try to collect hawkbill/pruner and cotton sampler knives.  You have some very fine fixed blades.  Outstanding Collection !!  Best regards, Bill

Tom,

I am so sorry you have not been well!  I hope your getting better.  Donnie has been working on the house up here a little and forging a little, more now that the weather is cooling off.  The hammer in is this weekend so he is happy as a hog!  I am getting a little stronger but taking more pills than I would like.  Catch 22, dont take them, make no progress getting stronger, do take them make more progress but need to rest more often LOL.  The migraines are not easing off any but I have a great Dr now and she is trying to get the meds with just the right balance that I can have my life back.  Donnie reminds me often not to trip over anything LOL!  Hope to hear from you a little more often, let me know your doing ok please
