Floyd,

Thank you, you got some great shots.  That little guy is  rather hard to get some good pics of

Some pics of the club knife, not real good ones, but something is better than nothing. Still pleased with the little whittler. Thanks again Mr Jan Carter.

David I am very glad you are satisfied.  You are correct in the dirt LOL, that is the reason everyone got a cleaning cloth also.  I thought it was appropriate since I did not want to be the cleaner of the knife.

It seems that we all feel as I did about this knife, as a whole it was a winner for our community

Got mine today too, thanks for the fast shipping.  It's a good looking knife.  I always like getting another whittler pattern.  Overall I found it to be well made and pretty clean.  I always take a piece of flannel and thoroughly clean every nook and cranny and this was better than many.  Surprising to me how much dirt can lurk in nail pulls and between the liners on otherwise pristine knives, even customs.  Anyway, the one area, at least on my sample, that may have led to the initial rejection by JBF Champlin is the walk & talk.  The main blade and one of the pen blades is OK but the pen blade with the 1 of 50 etch is very hard to open yet rather slack once opened.  I had to dig out my knife pick to open it, none of my nails was up to the job.  Given the unique pattern, history and good looks, it's still a satisfying purchase.

Thanks Ashley!  No they are not perfect but like you, nothing was enough to keep me from getting the history and this fantastic knife for our members.  I am glad you like it

Never mind with my last post I got it today. There's a couple minor flaws that I noticed but nothing that would make me not buy the knife. So glad I have a peice of history! Thank you!
