Jade just recently got her Subaru (2011 Outback). I think it only has 168K or so.

Oh dude...so sorry to hear this. I know how much such issues can take vital resouces such as money and time away from life's real priorities...like knife shopping, knife restoration, bay research (that's short for "bayonet" for no-collectors), and garden work - which when you love as you do is never work!
Is this on the 400K mile Subaru? Wish you all the best success in your efforts....
