Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I like USA made Schrades & Schrade-Walden knives...obviously. Old Timers, Uncle Henry's and the models that pre-dated those lines. Saw-cut Delrin, Stagalon, Butter-n-Molasses, etc. handles. They're all great in my book.

I am proceeding slowly with adding to my collection, in the beginning I was going like gang busters. But, the pickings are getting slim at least for good/great condition knives.

Although I am not buying much now, I never tire of seeing them or looking for them. So if you have some or have come into some, let me see them.

Eventually I will try to get all I currently have into 1(or 3) photos for this discussion. For now these will have to do.

Brad,

You have a pretty nice collection going there! Is there anything in particular that you are searching for?

Tom
Tom,
I am concentrating on the fixed blades right now. Problem with that is there are so many. So I narrowed it down to Old Timers & Uncle Henrys. Ultimately I would like to have a mirror display of these 2 lines next to each other. But when I can't find the fixed blades, I will try for great condition slipjoints. Old Timers and Uncle Henrys of course. Also would like to complete a Schrade Butter n Molasses collection. I am still at the shallow end of my 40's, so I have some time.

Thanks Tom,  I have read about the Canal Street knives and I am thinking about trying one out soon.  I am sure the quality is good.

Well, I got another 156OT. This is my second one, I now have a back up. No sheath with this one, but I can come up with something quick.

Brad, a very nice and useful looking knife.

Great knife Brad! If you need a sheath, I know somebody that surely has one, although he isn't cheap. Let me know,

Tom

Yesterday the mailman brought me something. A little Schrade Walden 718. She was filthy inside, but snaps hard both ways. Schrade Logo #9 (1946-73)

Looks good Brad

Really nice little Walden there Brad!

Tom
I am finding these Waldens pretty easy to obtain without breaking the bank.

I like the Waldens too.  I like the blades with the long nail pulls on them.  I agree on the price too, If you are patient you can find good deals on these.

Here is a Schrade Open Stock,  small Stockman from Ebay.
