I suspect Jan might know of one or two....

Well lets see if anyone knows of one along those miles of white beaches, almost too pretty to think of knives. Notice I said almost ;)

Take a trip to Orlando and the Russell Factory Store

Also check with these folks

Also, not sure of the route you're taking ,but a side trip to SMKW in Sevierville,TN on the way down would not be wasted. You can easily spend a day( or 2) there and there is plenty there for the wife and kids, too. I might also suggest pulling up Lion heart under the members tab and shoot him an email. He lives in Sarasota,FL  and would know if anyone would. BTW, I lived in Ocala, FL , about 90 miles north of Sarasota, and my best knife finds were in the area pawn shops.I scored some pretty nice knives that way.

Hey John I didnt realize you were so close!  Thanks for the contact info for Gino with the club.  I didnt know who to tell him to get with in the area.  Will we be seeing you in Lakeland in January?

Sorry, Jan, probably not. I lived in Ocala,FL for 25 years (past tense) I moved back to Illinois to help take care of my parents a few years back. Mom and Dad are both 90 (mom turned 90 2 days ago) and lord help me, I turned 60 today.I live in Champaign, IL now, home of the University of Illinois.

A good local knife shop is:

The Knife Place
