Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Work is slow due to this endless winter.  I have been looking at estate sales and very rare do the take pics of knives.  This one has lots of antiques and collector stuff.  It starts early in the week so only the hardcore hunters will be there.  Trying to figure out what these knives are and how hard (how early I have to stand out in the cold to be first in the door) I need to go at it.  Not a real close up but any ideas info will help me to zero in cause you got to be quick!!

Really hard to tell anything from that photo, Brian...might you have a better one? Any descriptions, links or listings?

Based on what I see in the picture I would probably sleep in, myself. The only one that I MIGHT be interested in would be the Easy Opener in the top left section. And that would be contingent upon who the maker was and the overall condition of the knife.

Those Buster Brown pins bring back some memories!

Good luck to you! And, should you happen to buy something, keep us posted!

(Filling in for Hog) And feel free to post pics of what you get! We like pics here at iKnife!

Brian

The only one I can give any help on is the little shoe knife in the slot directly above the empty slot in the bottom row.  My grandmother got one at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis.  It was made by Germania Cutlery Works in Germany.  I can't tell from that picture if it is the same knife but one like my grandmother's sold for $125 dollars at an auction in Ohio.  Here is a picture of my grandmother's knife.  This is also a picture of my grandmother taken around 1890.

K thanks guys I plan on going. I like to pick up knives at sales like this is fun. I had hopes for the black one up in the top left corner area. Anyone have any ideas?
