Well thats over until October anyway. Very interesting.

That was a good view right there Walter, I thank you! Ha, ha yes after the car insurance ad and some strange music we see it! Entertaining to say the least and the best part I lost no sleep!

I was able to get on NASA site and watch until about 3:05 am., then the Streaming Video Feeds were overwhelmed with viewers and I was knocked off.  I never did get back on at NASA but googled and kept trying different sites until I got on at a Griffith Observatory, I think, and watched until total eclipse was over.  My wife has been viewing a slide show on her iPad at USA Today and time lapse video (after 30 sec ad) from CNN at: http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/15/tech/innovation/blood-moon/

It was too cloudy last night to see anything. The girls were disappointed.

A couple of these blood moons fall on significant days for me personally, doesn't mean anything, but kind of odd none the less. The one before the total eclipse happens on our 35th wedding anniversary and the one after falls on passover. Which in this case, passover is actually the day before Easter and my birthday falls on Easter for the first time in my lifetime. All coincidence, but it does bring a personal touch to it.

Rob

Rob, that is kinda interesting. And special to. I am going to try and pay closer attention to the moon, its phases and activity.

Does it seem to anyone else, like there's a lot more of these natural phenomenon's going on over the past few years? Earthquakes, tsunami's, record breaking winters, etc... In our region of the country, we've had several major tornado's in the past 2 or 3 years. Then there's things like comets, meteor showers and blood moons. All these things have happened in the past, just seems to me, that there have been a lot more of it going on in a somewhat short amount of time. Media coverage might play some part in it, but the news has been covering these sort of things for decades and I can't recall a time when this many things happened within just a few years of each other. It does make a person wonder.

Yes Rob, I fully agree. The signs and wonders are increasing around the world. And it does make a person wonder.

I was able too see it red, missed the eclipse but the cloud cover kept me from getting any pics or video.  It was a little erie in red

Well, maybe we will have a better view in October.

I hope so everyone is waiting for it.
