Ha, a knife like this ain't gonna see no use, this knife has been improved by two craftsman, that just improve the knife from it's makers with fancy knife art. You have to see the knife in person to really see how well it's made. Mr. AG. was right about the knives that came out of that factory when he owned it. Really sweet!

Robert that thing is beautiful!  I love the carving on that.

So it says Hen & Rooster or A.G. Russell??  I would love to own that knife, you should be very proud.

Where did you pick that up??

I have one Hen & Rooster, but it  is no where near as pretty as that one Robert   I will run into it some day and try to remember to post it

Lee, it has the Hen and Rooster Logo on one side of the blade and Betram *Germany* on the other. There's no AG Russell, ID on the knife but from what I have learned, he owned the company from 1975 to 1980. I don't think they came out the factory with these craftsmans improvements but I could be wrong. I'll find out from Mr. AG. I'm glad you like it, you have good taste in knives, I think..

Any new Hen and Roosters out there? New or Vintage.

Not lately, but I need to get the 2013 collector knife

I found some that I have not posted pics on.

Wow, I really like that green bone......well, I like the fancy Congress too!

Real nice Billy and Ken. Sometimes we forget that Hen and Roosters now days have fixed blades. I think Boker, built that knife but I am not positive. Anyone know for sure?

Don't know.   Knowing when it was would make ight help Identify  if it were out sourced to Boker.  Is it a recent build or older?  Either way, it is a gorgeous knife!

The guy I bought it from, got it about 25 years ago. I had never heard about Boker making them but I heard that the recent ones were assembled in Spain. I think this one is authenic Solingen, Germany.
