Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I picked up a stag handle pocket knife this morning at the local flea market . The only marking is YAX (in a circle) on the single blade. It is 4 1/4 inches closed & 7 5/8 inches opened. The blade is 3/8 inch thick & it has a lanyard loop on the end. I would appreciate any info concering this knife or the company which made it.

Sorry I do not have pictures.

Thanks, RAT

YAX is the actual name of the company that makes the knife. They are made in Japan. Thats all I know other than I don't see too many of them in my travels.
Thanks Brad. At least I now know where they are made. This is the 1st I have ever seen & had it not had stag handles I would not have bought it in as much as I don't care that much for pocket knives.
I thought it might be a military pocket knife of European make due to the stag handles, thick utility construction & lanyard loop.
