Being a novice knife collector, I do not know how to properly store my folders.
I would like to be able to see them without unwrapping them. Any suggestions without breaking my budget?

Ya,my wife thinks I'm at the wrong web site. She thinks I should be looking for a intervention site. I guess when you find yourself trying to get to the mailbox before your spouse to hide a box of KABARS there might be a SMALL problem? :)

My preference is folders. Neat, easy to store, easy to access, all you have to do is remember what is in which one. This one (blue) is made by Hickory Hill (the people who make the high quality knife rolls) and it can be had in two folder (48 knives) or three folders (72 knives). In my opinion, the nicest one on the market.

I have a couple like the red one and they hold 42 knives. Folders also come in 24, 16, 12 and 8.

I don't see that as being a problem.......

Thanks for your support Phil!

Nice displays everyone. I have mine stored away now. I have a Schrade floor model display that I found at a Salvation Army thrift store but my wife hijacked it to store her glassware in for a while. When I recover it I will use it. : )

Beautiful display!

I like mine out where I can see and touch them. Keep them oiled. Put felt spacers between blade and sheath on fixed blades displayed with sheath.
