Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I like Spyderco knives. The thing is, I have only ever bought 1 Spyderco knife and that G-10 Manix 2 was traded long ago. But the Spydercos keep gravitating toward me, thanks to my friend Joe. He loves Spyderco and he loves giving Spydercos as gifts. All of these are from him. Thanks Joe for the Spyder infestation!!!

I have here the Szabo folder, Endura Damascus in Orange bone, Blue Manix2 Lightweight, Newest member is the Domino flipper and the 1st gift from Joe is the Caly3 Damascus. All of these are keepers for the obvious reason....

I am not sure, but they are labeling the Delica 4 as such on the FRN handle. Yours does not look to have a numeral next to the Delica name. Without calling Spyderco or visiting a Spyderco Fan website, I would hazard a guess at it being a first generation Delica.

It looks like my first gen Delica. If the pocket clip is molded and not a metal screw on, it's a first gen.

Sorry, late to conversation...lol

BTW, Love the Endura with orange bone. Saw those and fell in love, but my wallet keeps us apart.

I had an employee show me a fantastic $2 swap meet find. Gen 1 Delica w/Full serration. It had a molded clip.

Updated "Spyder Infestation" picture.

Top-Bottom - Temperance 2, Black Laci Szabo Folder, LionSpy, Sprint run Delica Orange Jigged bone/Titanium Bolsters & Damascus, Black saber grind Endura 4, Light Blue Manix2 Lightweight/CTS-BD1, Delica 4 Ti/Damascus & Kiwi w/ Stag.

Well, since I didn't carry it and it was still in "BNIB" condition. I have made a trade on BF for the LionSpy+$20, mailed it out at lunch to a gentlemen in Indiana. What I will receive in trade is a Sprint run PM2 with S35vn blade and a regular PM2 with RIT Blue dyed digicam handles. I will definitely carry the PM2's and enjoy them more than the LionSpy. I will take pics as soon as they arrive.

Well OK outstanding, always glad to hear of a trade that has worked!

The PM2s arrived today:

Brown g10 w/ CPM S35VN blade & RIT Blue dyed FRN Digicam w/CPM S30V blade. I really like the Compression lock.

Great looking knives Brad.  I was considering a PM2 a few years ago but didn't get one.  A friend in Canada wanted two but the company wouldn't ship outside the US so he had them send the knives to me and I sent them to him.  I held them in my hand and the PM2 just didn't click.  Still I've been tempted to get one so I could use it for a while. Sometimes a knife (and other things) grow on you.  It seemed strange that I didn't like the feel when so many others love it. The PM2 is about as "Spyderco" as you can get. It's one of the time tested models.  Everything about the knife screams quality. Blade steel, handle material, lock, everything.  I've bought a few knives knowing I may not like it and will sell or trade it.  The PM2 may be another.  Maybe I'll love it after using it.  I tried to get my buddy in Canada to let me use one of his dealer exclusive PM2's to dig in the dirt with to cut roots and stuff like that. He said he'd rather I didn't. :)

I like the Military, but after awhile the size and the liner lock made the ease of use not so "easy". The compression lock is a great lock for 1-hand closing. The smaller blade and handle are easier to carry. I can now work these into my carry rotation. But I think I will be carrying either one or the other for the next few weeks.

Awesome knives Brad
