Sure would like to own a 3 1/2 - 4" single blade D2, Some sort of Jigged cattle bone, maybe that

200 year old stuff. On the pull on the blade, has to be extra large, cause of my old artheritic hands.

Now that would be a nife to carry around, expeciallly after it had started turning color and getting

darker.

I also like the 3 1/2 size and am never opposed to a long pull. As for handle, I really like the primative bone. How is the newest little one doing?
Great Eastern has been making a single blade Dogleg Trapper on the #48 frame. The Tidioute version is available in Tractor Green, and Tractor Red Jigged Bone. The Northfield UN-X-LD version is just released in Antique Walnut Jigged Bone,Snakewood,Burnt Stag and Black Pearl Looking Glass. The length of these knives is 3 7/8". Blades are 1095. To my knowledge Great Eastern Cutlery has not used any D2 to date.Soon to come,a 2 blade Jack Knife on the 66 frame,3 1/2 inches,1095 Carbon Steel Blades.

Thanks for the info Bob. Any ideas on when the 2 blade jack on the 66 frame is expceted? That 66 has become one of my favorite frames/patterns
Later next week I THINK.Tidioutes first, then later come the Northfields. Two different colors of jigged bone, and also Ebony Wood.Thats the plan, what comes out could be a little different. The 2 blade Serpentine Jack is one of my favorites also! Just a classic, old time pocket knife.
Thanks again Bob. I really appreciate the information
You're quite welcome Jan.
