Heather-Welcome to IKC !! Some info on your "A.G. Cantor " folding fruit knife- The hallmarks on the blade tell me it was actually made by silversmith Arthur Worral Staniforth. The crown stands for the city of Sheffield. The lion stands for sterling silver. The b stands for 1894 and the AS in an oval stands for Arthur Staniforth. A.G. Cantor would be the original owner, as you will find many of these engraved with the owners' names. Mr. Staniforth registered that AS mark in 1890, so this would be a fairly early piece. You will find many of  his knives dating up to 1929 or so.His later pieces sell for around $60-80. This being an early one, might bring more. The other knife appears to have some writing just where the blade ends and the metal ferrule  of the handle begins. I can't make out the writing from the photo, however. Are you able to take a close up of the writing or relay what it says?? I will try and ID it for you as well.

You are certainly looking at some fantastic pearl, gold pearl, paua and abalone.  They also all appear to have their original  bails!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
