Is this a newer version with the FAST assisted opening mechanism or is it a older model?

I picked up the Lone Wolf T3 Ranger almost by accident. I was just browsing and found it at a price I couldn't pass up.
It is a monster at just over half a pound, and I prefer a tip up carry, but it has really grown on me. I would say it's in my top 4 or 5 favorite knives right now. I have work pants with a thin deep pocket on the leg for tools, or a phone, that it fits in perfectly.
I've been making this bad boy part of my EDC for the last couple of weeks. It puts a smile on my face every time hear the sound it makes when that blade snaps open.
Thank you. 8-)
I almost always wear regular jeans and I still have no problems wearing my Lone Wolf Ranger. And do you want to talk about solid lockup!? The thing sounds like a fricking pump-action shotgun chambering a shell. The only problem I've found with the knife so far is it was starting to develop brown, tarnish speckles on the blade. Tonight I took it apart, hit it with some 1500 grit sandpaper and steelwool and then sprayed it down with 3 coats of silicone spray before putting it back togeather. We'll see if that stops it. Other then that I love mine alot.
Thank you to everyone who has added to this section of the TCC. I appreciate all the posts and look forward to seeing your newest purchase!
I recommend Flitz Metal Polish. It comes in a small tube, like a small tube of toothpaste size. Easy to keep with my knife stuff. I just use a cotton ball and a little Flitz and the rust speckles come right off. Non-abrasive and has corrosion protection. I had to use it twice when the knife was new, after that the tarnish spots never came back.

Cool! Thanks for the advice.
Emerson Horseman. Its awesome.
I liked my Spyderco Delica 4 Wave so much I bought a regular Spyderco Delica 4 in foliage green.

I saw a Benchmade 530 and fell in love with it. It is the lightest and skinniest knife that I own. It is a great EDC knife and a lot of fun to play with.

A subject near and dear to my heart! I have a serious addiction to tactical folders. My latest purchase is a Zero Tolerance 0200. I am absolutely THRILLED with it! I have been quite an Emerson fan and generally stick by my CQC-8 and CQC-11 knives. They are, at least in my opinion, absolutely brilliant tactical folders. That said, this ZT 0200 is really blowing me away. The sound that the blade makes when I deploy it is unlike that of any other knife that I've ever owned. SNAPPPPP!!! If there are any revolver (handgun) fans out there, you probably dig the sound of a hammer being cocked, right? Ok...so do I...but the sound of the ZT 0200 is like that. Just a very distinctive and authoritative sound. The texturing of the G10 scales is PERFECT. I love the black pillars along the back-strap of the knife. The jimping is flawless. The thumb-stud terracing is extremely superb...as is it's location. Of course, this knife includes a flipper "tang" that works just as well...though I prefer the thumb-stud. I dig the blade shape with the very graceful recurve. To me, this is a very beautiful knife! Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and I be-holding this AWESOME knife!!!
