Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Now to some exciting news.  For those of you that have just started the journey here with us, a tiny bit of background on our next custom being offered in our monthly contest/giveaway.

Don Carter Forge very rarely sells a knife.  It is a hobby he enjoys almost as much as giving a knife to a friend or a young person.  The past few years have been quite an adventure for me, watching him learn to take a small piece of tool steel and make it into a hand forged knife.  I always try to find something special as our Christmas giveaway and this year Don Carter has agreed to give away a knife made just for iKC.

As the 12th of December gets closer, watch here for the details and how you can be the owner of this knife, just by being online

It's been the 12th of December for over 17 hours here in Australia ... the anticipation is killing me !!!

I'm going out of town until Wednesday do not let me miss this I wont in

Let me share with you, getting a good pic of this handle was rough but I believe he chose the material best for this contest.  It is a red/dark acrylic with suspended pine cone slices.  Not split down the middle, horizontal slices. Created by Woodlabs and purchased at the Knife Days show in Ohio.

So lets play the 12 days of Christmas!

How do you enter?

Between now and December 25th, 2016 at 8PM eastern standard time

You must have 12 days of participation

PARTICIPATION

OK, I know this sounds difficult but it really is not

1) Share iKC (twitter, FB, another forum, somewhere we can verify)  don't have another social network don't worry see #2

2) Post in any of our 69 Groups

3) Come back to this discussion and tell us what you did that day!

Our maker, Don Carter, says if you are an iKC member as of today...you are eligible to win and that means everyone

Good luck to everyone, know I will be in this discussion multiple times in the next 13 days, to be sure I have all entries accounted for !

Thank you for being here with us, our members are what make us great!
