Bryan,

I think all the categories you listed would be of interest to collectors. Are you suggesting that auctions would be for specific categories? i.e. Vintage Knife Auction vs Modern Knife Auction, or auctions with mixed items? My personal interest is in shiny stabby pointy items - vintage, modern, custom or production. But I would also be interested in accessories to house my collection, i.e. display cases, storage cabinets etc.

More importantly is participation, how many members get involved in the auctions. Bidding seems to be slow in coming, I'm not sure if that's because of interest, the items offered or folks just not knowing about it yet. Whatever the reason I hope you continue having auctions.

In your last auction I was really interested in the Vintage Sportsman's Knife, especially after reading your article in Knife Magazine. Unfortunately, I procrastinated and missed the auction deadline, Que será, será.

Thank you John!  I like the ideas of categories.  Hmmmm….

And thank you for the input.  Very valuable and appreciated!  We are right around 80 members in the Auction group, and would love to raise that number and share the fun even more.

Lastly, I'm sorry you missed the end of the Sportsman's Knife auction.  However, Its still available if you would like to email me and talk about it further!
