Grandpas' Wade & Butcher

The sheath I believe is original as I have seen many with with the full rivet/button. G-pa, to me roached his sheath. G-pa picked this up in KCK before dad was born(June 28) but he wore it all the time barely used it, but get-n in & out of his truck the sheath took a beat-n.

Spent 3 of his 15mo. in Afghanistan they’re still squabbling an “throwing rocks” at each other. The pic here, he’s going to play a round or two. But this is in Kuwait. He’s been in the Nat.Grd 15-16 yrs and now is serving as an E-8. First 2 times his group from MO were in the hot zone in more than one sense of the word. I worry each time he gets called to go across the pond.I want him carrying a black bag home - & not being in one. Sorry my words are not all about knives, We were buds as he grew, still am, and at times I can’t finish the paragraph- I can’t see it. So his pic is there cuz I’m proud of the man(37) he’s become and love him very much!! Sorry I can’t go any further.
