Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone! I am more of a rookie than anyone. I am looking to learn about a knife I just inherited from my grandpa. He used this knife for general use daily and I would absolutely love to learn how to care for it. I believe I have already identified it. Its a Case 1977 (3 dot) stockman knife. The code is 03244. Thank you everyone!

Case XX USA 3 Dot 1977 Yellow 03244 Pen Knife - Yellow Composition Handles - 2 Blades - Nickel Silver Bolsters - Brass Liners?

Nope.  Never heard of it.   :P  LOL.  Just kidding!

Looks like a solid EDC knife.  I have heard this knife called a 'Swamp Rat' and a "Half Stockman'

As far care?  Carry it with no embarrassment, keep it clean (blow out the lint balls, wipe off the other stuff that you cut through) and keep it sharp.  :)  A dull knife is dangerous.

I wash my EDCs with soapy water every week or two, then dry them thoroughly and wipe them down with a touch of light machine oil.  Maybe a drop of oil at the hinges just to keep it opening and closing nice and smooth.
