I'm not sure, Toby. I'm in the collector club and all the corespondence goes to Madison, NC. There are only about 4 or 5 distributors. SMKW and Red Hills Cutlery are the main 2 I know of. I'm sure Blue Ridge Cutlery is also one. That is a very good question. I would sure like to know if someone has the answer.
Stephen.
I am impressed that they went with the older equipment. One of the things I enjoy about GEC is that the factory uses equipment and many processes from those days also. 117 hand operation steps on a pocket knife. Nice to know Bear and Sons is keeping to the traditions also.
camillus made the bsa knife for many years it was a very sad day for all when they closed their doors in 2007 it had run sense 1876 the good thing is that the tools they used to make bsa all those years was saved&now bear &sons still use them today to make the knifes like they always was.the knife is made 115 hand operations and is marked with the same design as it was in 1940
