None at my house.  Too fragile.  I have tile floors and ceramics tend to break when falling

I'm old fashion, no ceramic knife around here.

Interesting information clearly not suitable for traditional EDC field work but perhaps more appropriate for the kitchen or other uses.

They are non-magnetic, non corrosive and do not conduct electricity so may be popular for electricians or others working in high voltage situations or with chemicals.

More knife productions companies are producing a line of these knives as well, including Victronix.  So even though limited there is some market out there and certain companies are pursuing that market. Here is something else interesting...more ceramic knives are being produced than ever before....

Well here is an interesting follow up. I was reading about a new two blade pocket knife made by Stone River Gear. Apparently a combination of one blade steel and another ceramic that makes for a nice combination in the field when dressing game. Interesting combination.

Certainly makes you wonder with advancements in Ceramics engineering, if more can't be done to address, strength, chipping and/or breaking.

Hog,

I would like to see that, did the article have pics?

Actually the picture is the cover of Blade Magazine, June Issue. The article is a short one about 2-3 pages in.

Thanks Hog, I will check that out
