Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Fellow Collectors,

A co-worker recently bought a knife that he is desperate for information about and I am pretty much at a loss. It's a  2 5/8" Stockman with imitation jigged bone (Delrin) covers and a shield that depicts an eagle with wings spread, gripping a banner in its' talons. The tang is stamped: Sears U.S.A. 95236.  It looks a lot like a Camillus to me but I'm sure someone out there must know all about it. Any information, including approximate value, would be very much appreciated.

                                                                                      Thank You and Best Regards,

David its nice to see you!  Yes I would venture to say you are correct,  Camillus as you might know has been around some time. but if we pick up after World War 1, a salesman named Alber Baer was hired on in 1922 He was able to sell Sear & Roebuck and Camillus began to manufacture the knives for them. He went on to sell Woolworths and they produced knives for them too. later on he went on to purchase the company.

Value I will see if we get any estimates on that.
