Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Attention Fellow Bullnose Enthusiasts!

I am starting this thread to showcase all of those new GEC Farm & Field Bullnoses, in whatever flavor--orange, black or GITD--you might have. Of course, any of the older Bullnoses such as the most recent Rednecks are also welcome.

I just got my orange beauty a couple of days ago and can't seem to get enough of it. It's just sooo purrrdy! Not to mention, photogenic!

I am encouraging anyone with a Bullnose to dust off that camera lens and start snappin' some pics. Then, post them in this thread.

Here are a whole bunch of pics I took in the park yesterday. I hope that you will enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them...

This last pic (above) also includes my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and ZebraLight SC600. These items constitute the heart of my EDC. The Para 2 and ZL SC600 have seen daily action for more than a year now. I have never intentionally left home without either during that period. The new Bullnose will now join the ranks with these veteran EDC's.

Thank you for indulging my newest obsession from Great Eastern Cutlery.

I've shown ya mine ~ Let's see yours!

Nice pictures Ron!

Thanks, Craig! I'm hoping that other Bullnose enthusiasts will add their pics, also.

Bob,

LOL, I feel your pain.  We ordered some from England last week and I think my husband is going to have a fit before they get here...LOL

If you need help posting pics so we can see what you have before this one gets there let me know.  Looking forward to hearing what you think about the bullnose when it gets there

Hey, Bob!

I 'spose I should feel bad for contributing to your knife delinquency? But, I don't! Trust me. Once you get that Bullnose in your hot little hand you will be writing songs about it and me! GEC really hit a homerun with this knife. For a production folder at this price-point it'll be hard to beat. Besides, I have no time to feel bad for corrupting you when it's taking every ounce of my strength just trying to resist the temptation of ordering another one--a black one--for myself!

Posting pics here at iKC is super easy! Just save the pics you wish to post in a folder on your computer and then when the time comes to post 'em just click on the little icon directly to the right of the word "Link" on the message box toolbar. You'll find it in the upper left hand corner of the message box. Once you've clicked on that link another message box will appear. Click on the word "Browse" and then you can search for the folder the pic you want to post was saved in. Now all you need to do is click on that pic. When the pic is done loading click "Ok," and voila, like magic, your picture will now appear in your post. It's super easy!

If you have any problems just give me a holler. And congratulations on your first post here at iKC! I hope that it will be the first of many yet to come. Folks here are pretty hospitable. Kind of along the lines of treatin' others the way you would wish to be treated yourself, you know.

I can't wait to see the pics of your new Bullnose once it arrives! Welcome to iKC! And, yes! I am in full agreement about Stefan and his videos. Like the GEC Northfield line of knives, Stefan's videos are UN-X-LD!

Cheers, my friend!

My experience with shipping knives to "Old Blighty" is you have to be creative with your Declaration Form. I prefer to refer to the items as "Camping Accessories" rather than Knives. And not being familiar with the United Kingdom monetary system,it seems I always, mistakenly, end up with a way low monetary value declaration. That way the Custom Inspectors seem to think a lower valued item is not worth their time. 2 weeks tops door to door. Now I would never attempt to decieve the powers that be,just somethings are beyond the understanding of a poor old HillBilly!

Bob,

ROFL....

I hope the ones coming from there come as fast :)

Ron-Thanks for helping with the pics :)  We will have to get some more up so Bob Biggs has something to look at while he waits for his

I have the feeling this discussion is going to be responsible for selling a bunch of Bull Noses!

Is it just me, or does "Bull Nose" sound neater than "Sod Buster"? I give GEC two extra points just for the name. LOL!

Hey Bob, the little row of icons above where you type your response is where you start to post a picture.

The first one says "Link" - not that one

The second one says "Image" when you hover your cursor over it. Click on it. It will give you a popup window that says "ADD IMAGE", with "From My Computer" in a little box below that.

Below that is a gray button that says "Choose File" - click on that and navigate to your picture folder on your computer......or wherever you keep photos.

Click on photo. When it's done uploading click "OK" and it should post it in your reply.

I know what you mean Bob. I'm an old timer too;)

Hoping to see those pics soon :)

That's a great picture, Bob! I love the lanyard ya put on Bullwinkle, too!

(I hope those aren't rain clouds I see in the background? hee hee)

Hey Bob, good picture! Looks like a poster.

See, us old timers can figure things out......sometimes! LOL!
