Bob, That Bocote Wood is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new knife!

That's beautiful Bob! I need to get a stag 26 too.

I've seen pictures of the 25 in Bocote, and it looks fantastic. I'd like to see pictures of yours!

I just ordered a #25 Barlow in the dark green saw cut bone!

Have you all seen this?  It is a pretty good comparison video for GEC sizes (its a bit older though)

Still a pretty good video. Thanks for the link.

Here it is!

This #25 Little Jack is........GR-R-REAT!

* The fit and finish is, well, once again, pretty much perfect

* Blade pull is, uh, perfect! Not too soft, not too hard. Solid!

* Blade play, NONE!

* It's 3" long closed but feels like a bigger knife.

* I like this King Wood, but I don't think it's quite as flashy as Cocobolo. But, it's very nice.

* It's built like a tank!

Everything about this little knife says quality. And as far as it's overall feel, I like it a good bit better than the Sleeveboard. It's really not that much thicker, and fits in the coin pocket on my jeans perfect. It's not a flashy knife like some of the other GEC models, but it has it's own style, and is a good little everyday friend that can do a lot more than it's size makes you think!

I also have an Amber Bone #25 coming, and I might get a Stag later on. I love this little knife and one WILL become my EDC.......which one is the question.

Look at the center photo. The Remington. I wonder if GEC had that in mind when they made the Little Jack?!

Okay, I got my Amber bone 25 today. Well, it's packed back up to go visit it's birth place! A bit of a disappointment on this one. It has what I've never seen except for on a Rough Rider knife. At least I can't remember seeing it before on other brands. And it's hard to explain , but, it has a "groove" from the spine to the edge on the back side of the main blade that is polished like the rest of the blade, but it makes a long dip that is easy to see if you have light go across the blade. Almost like during grinding or polishing, someone hesitated at one point. Don't know how something like this could have made it out. A brief look at the finish of the blade reveals it.

Oh well.

Nice looking Barlow Bob! That Bocote looks familiar. Hmmm......I bet I know who you bought it from! LOL!

Love the grain in that handle! Indeed, some Beauteous Bocote, Bob! *I love alliterations!*

Any more Little Jacks out there? Got pictures?
